In the past 15 years, I’ve developed combat engineering unit mission readiness, helped NATO in civil engineering and fuel supply projects and consulted the industry on R&D and testing of nonlethal solutions for the military customers. In the Military Industrial Complex triangle of Military-Academia-Industry, I sit right in the middle.

Anete is an expert in EU public funding and strategic financing, with nearly 20 years of experience helping innovative businesses navigate complex funding ecosystems. A graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, she has secured millions in EU and national funding since 2007. At TUTUM SAFES, she leads financial strategy, integrating public financing into long-term growth and R&D to ensure innovation meets execution on a global scale.
Structural engineer and an ex. associate professor at Riga Technical University (RTU).
Main research fields in Sustainable Building Materials, Engineering Systems, Geotechnics, Foundation engineering and structural durability. Also works professionally as structural engineer. In 2014, awarded as the "Engineer of the Year". Active in several professional organizations and frequently publishes research on structural safety and geotechnics.
